No accounts, no tracking

There are no accounts, and we never ask for an email address, a phone number or a last name. We run no analytics, no tracking pixels and no ad networks, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

On your device

Your browser keeps three things for this site: a random player ID it makes the first time you visit, the first name you type, and the look you pick for your character. They stay in your browser's storage for this site, and clearing the site's data removes them.

In each game

Each game link is one group's run through the building. While it lasts, our server keeps the group's first names and looks, which cells each player holds, which doors are open, the score, and the intercom messages between cells. Your intercom messages are shown only to the cells in that conversation.

This is a test version, so each game also keeps a log of moves and intercom messages, which the people building the game read to see how a test went and make the game better. A separate list of open games records first names and progress, never messages.

A game nobody touches for seven days is erased, along with its log and its entry in the list. To have a game erased sooner, email us the game's link.

Hosting

The game runs on Cloudflare, which carries the traffic to the site. We have turned off logging of individual requests on our side. Fonts load from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com); Google has stated that font requests don't set cookies and aren't used for advertising.
